Every year there are certain shows that are on my must attend list. Spring Fling always seems to make this list for more then one reason. First is the show is awesome and the host club Vital Signs kicks butt. The second and not to close behind reason is this show is held in Panama City Beach, FL the same weekend as most colleges are out for Spring Break, so combine the two events you have an awesome weekend. We left Jackson, MS in true SSM fashion, LATE. We had made arrangements to follow Runt and the EC Memphis crew down to make sure neither of us had any problems along the way. Runt had only picked up his dually from Silver Star the day prior from getting the back end totally redone with some sick chains and a triangle canti-lever set up. So with no road miles on it we wanted to make sure we didn't have any problems. We decided to steal the 03 Ram on 23's that we had bagged from its owner and bring it along for the show also. So between the two trucks it was best we stuck together. As we arrived into PCB it was obvious that spring break was in full force. We checked into the hotel, got settled in and hit the strip to have a good time. The strip was packed with people from all over that had made the trip to party there butts off for Spring Break. As the evening rolled on it was time to get some much needed sleep for the days events that were to come. Sat morning was gorgeous and the weather was perfect for the show. As we arrived at the show we quickly detailed the Ram and set out to meet and see old friends. As we walked around it was amazing at the quality of the entries this show brings. It was obvious that this was going to be a record year for Spring Fling 2K4. As Sat evening wore on and the show grounds emptied we decided to head back to the hotel and get ready for the evenings events. A good long time friend Brian Majors decided that they would join us for the fun. We decided to hit Club LaVela the largest Nightclub in America. The Assorted Minis crew along with myself, Phatty, Brian and his girl hit the club on a mission to see if we could drink the place dry. After failing horrible at drinking it dry we decided it was time to head to the hotel. Half way there Phatty decided Waffle House was a much better idea and so it was time for some Awful Waffle.

After arriving at the show Sun morning I decided to make the use if the time and gather the show coverage to bring to the SSM viewers. As the day rolled on it was time for the world famous Vital Signs Bikini Contest. Every year this is one of the highlights of the show as some of the south's most gorgeous ladies compete for over $500 in cash and prizes. It wasn't long until it was time for Vital Signs to pass out the trophies to the vast crowd. As with every year Vital Signs presents only the finest Acrylic trophies, that are simple awesome to look at. Sun evening came way to fast and it wasn't long until everyone was packing up and heading home. We said our good-byes to the entire crew and thanked them once again for hosting one of the best shows in the country.In the 5 years I've been attending and now covering this show for SSM, this was the best year I've ever attended.
