How ya'll is? April is here, and March didn't go out like no damn lamb, it was blowing like a mofo! Man, have I've got some story for ya'll this month....some of it's kind of funny, some of it's kinda weird, but it's all definitely interesting! First off, let me drop some major props on the guys and gals of Vital Signs for throwing a helluva show. I don't have all the vital (pun intended) statistics in front of me, but I will say this...THERE WERE A LOT OF PHAT RIDES IN PANAMA CITY!! In the parking lot of the show was a Ferrari Mondial!! Let me say this, even though Florida is on the opposite side of the country from Southern California, the Minitruckin' Mecca, those Right Coasters know how to build some tight ass rides. They had everything from a turbo-charged 70's Bug, to an early 70's Dub-inspired Chevelle wagon, to a skyed out Ford F250, a rodded Studebaker pickup and your always interesting smattering of imports...and oh yeah, a ton of clean-as-all-get-out minitrucks to make your jaw drop! Now, anyone that has been to Panama City and Panama City Beach knows that this a Spring Breakers town and Front Beach Road is THE place to be and be seen. There is nothing like rolling in the Banana Boat (sorry Dennis...but I love that name!) bagged crewcab dually, watching drunken college girls make on request, getting flashed by the same girls, (riding shotgun has it's advantages) and having the local police telling you to "Take your pelvic exams and get on down the road!" I will definitely say that if Spring Fling is not on your list of show to attend, you oughta consider changing that, I mean, it's during Spring Break...it really doesn't get much better than that! You gotta love a place that the bars give away FREE BEER! Now I need to drop a little insight on ya'll so that I can clear my conscience. With the onset of show season, most of us will hit at least one out of state show, so take a little time and go over your ride with a fine toothed comb. Check the fluids, the tires, everything. Nothing sucks more than getting stuck in the middle of BFE when something stupid and easily fixed happens.Until next month, keep your wheels spinnin' and the beavers grinnin'!!
