This lid comes with a replacement seal. So we need to remove the factory one and replace it with the one supplied. It's as easy as pressing it over the metal edge. Close the lid gently and test for proper alignment and fit. Make any adjustments as necessary, and then tighten the bolts/screws.

Here you can see the lid installed (bottom left column). But we had a wing on our other lid, so lets reinstall it! First we need to remove the wing from the old lid. Since our old lid was toast, we didn't worry about ruining it.Place the wing in place. Measure it so that it sits even and flush.  Once it is in place, use electrical tape to mark the edges of the wings feet. This is helpful to mark the exact position of the wing in case you bump the wing (no re-measuring will be needed).
