Since we purchased this car (1997 Chevy Cavalier z24) almost a year ago, we have gotten a bunch of things done. Many of which will be highlighted in the months to come. This month we will dive into a somewhat rare but very nice upgrade. A carbon fiber trunk lid (available from Tabasco Racing) was a perfect replacement for our abused stock trunk lid. The old trunk lid was a victim of very poor bodywork, as you can see from the photo below. The shaved trunk lid allowed us to have shaved inner tail lights (like before), but have the weight reduction and style of carbon fiber.
