Now you didn't think Daniel was going to do all this work to the exterior and not build one Bitchin' power plant did yeah? Well if you thought he wouldn't you was wrong. Daniel took a B16a DOHC motor and packed it with a Crane Cam, AEM pulleys, AEM cam gears and backed it with a Vortech supercharger with 12 pounds of boost, a Type R intake manifold and Turbo X/S blow-off valve. As if that wasn't enough a N/X Nitrous Express 120 dual shot kit was installed. To keep the forced air cool a Vortech air/ water aftercooler was then put into service.

To supply the needed spark Nology hotwires, Denso Iridium spark plugs and a Crane Cams Ignition management system and distributor were put to good use for the B16a. To ensure all the burnt fuel exited the B16a a DC Sport 4-1 headers and Greddy 35 mm EVO exhaust were chosen. To ensure none of the horsepower was lost in the transition from the motor to the tranny a Powertone Clutch kit and a DC Sport shifter were used. To ensure the motor didn't get to hot on the warm Cali days a Fluidyne radiator was installed.
