Well another month has passed and what a month it has been! It seems anything that could happen or will happen has happen this month to me. I started a new job recently that requires me to travel about 90% of the time. I've seen every airport I think there is to see and drove thru every lil piss ant town I think there is to drive thru. But while sitting in the Tampa Airport waiting on a much delayed flight I ran in to an old friend named Rabbit. Rabbit is a distributor for high-end home and car electronics. Rabbit once owned a school for young installers to come and learn how to do high-end installation that was taught by Mark Faquda. But while sitting there talking to Rabbit we got on the subject of car audio and how much it has changed in just the last ten years. It seems that car audio is taking on a totally new form. Car audio is no longer car audio it is now car multi media. No longer will a simple headunit and 4 speakers suffice. Now its about in dash dvd players and 5.1 processors and things you only heard of in home audio just 5 short years ago. It's about time car audio manufacturers woke up and saw that. Finally after 3 hours of waiting we boarded our plane. Hopefully it will not be another 5 years before I run into Rabbit again. But I do know this that if it is 5 more years that the car audio industry will have changed completely again by then.

Well I guess it is time to say so long to a good friend. No not Rabbit. I sold my orange body dropped Toyota this month. I can honestly say it was truly a sad day. I will miss this truck that's for sure. I never thought I would ever sell it because I had put so much time and effort into it for so long now. But all good things must come to an end and so does me owning my prize possession. While at Spring Fling a good friend asked if I would ever sell the Toyota and I slipped up and said yes. Not believing the words that had come from my mouth I had just said yes. I knew what his next question was going to be, How Much? I told him what I needed for the truck and the deal was done. The plan was for him to meet me half way I would drive the truck to him and he was going to trailer it from there. For 3 long hours I drove it for the last time. Now I know why see the long faces on all my friends at shows that have sold their rides since the last time I saw them. Because next time you see me I will too have that same long face.
