Jim first saw this 68 at a Good Guys show in 1998 and that's when he new he would love to have it. Luckily while showing at an ISCA show in Shreveport La, he saw the truck with a for sale sign on it. Jim talked to the previous owner about trading the two trucks and needless to say Jim would become the proud owner of this 1968 GMC. Once Jim got the 68 he immediately fixed the few things wrong and started digging threw magazines to get ideas on how to make this "his" truck.

He would find this a much-needed change for performance. Jim then new it was time for a tune up so he added new Mallory wires, cap, coil and rotor for a consistent spark. Also on this stroked motor is plenty of chrome including the pullies, radiator cap, water pump and cool flex hoses.
