Phil would start by bringing his prelude to Buck and Greg at Pathetic Racing in Albany, Georgia. Knowing it would need a lot of tlc they begun to work on Phil’s Prelude. Since the idea of the car was to be clean, and basically seamless almost everything on the outside of the car would need to be shaved. The door handles, gas door, and antenna where all shaved off. The filler neck was relocated into the trunk. Next would be the installation of the side skirts, front, and rear bumper.

They would then be molded into the body of the car. To go along with the Black Widow body kit, the Black Widow fiberglass hood was fitted to the car. Since Phil was going to be running some big wheels the body kit was cut and extended to give the car a lower appearance. Next Z3 slots where molded into the fenders. When all the bodywork was completed Holly Orange paint was sprayed over the whole car.
