For Selena she didn't want this to be just the every day custom Beetle, she wanted this set apart from the rest. So for beginners the stock suspension would be ripped out and a complete Air-over hydraulics system would be installed.

The new suspension set up would allow the fenders to engulf the 18 inch Niche Shocks which were wrapped in 215/35 inch Pirelli rubber.
