Before we can tell you about the present lets talk about the S-Dimes crazy past. The original owner was a guy by the name or Troy Billiot from Marrero, LA. You might remember the last name because his brother Ryan's "Bad Ass" body dropped Dodge Dakota from the OKC chapter of Pleasures graced our pages and cover not to long ago. Troy bought the truck brand spanking new in 1997 with the intentions of making it a true head turner and body dragger.

It wasn't long after laying down the green backs needed to take the truck home, till Troy had the frame planted firmly on the ground by using Bell-tech 3" drop spindles in combination with Firestone 2500 bags up front. To make sure he didn't get beat to death a set of Bell-Tech shocks were then added to the front end. Out back Troy decided to do a custom C notch to allow the rear-end a place to go when the truck was dumped to the ground.

Next the unneeded factory springs were ditched in favor of a mono leaf set up and a pair of Firestone 2600 bags were put to good use in the rear to ensure it got off the ground too. Of course the back needed shocks too so Bell-Tech rear shocks were also added to the rear.

Troy is not one to be afraid of heights so it was only natural that the body should be sit on the ground just like the frame. So Troy and his two brothers, Ryan and Sandy, got to work on cutting 3 1/2 inches out of the trucks body height in the form of a body drop. To allow the motor room to breath an Unlimited Products 3" cowl induction hood was then added to cover the motor from the Louisiana elements. Once the body drop was all welded up it was time to move on to the next phase.

Troy's brother Ryan is in the paint and body business so it was only fitting that Ryan tackle the exterior makeover honors of the truck. Troy and Ryan sat down and devised a game plan on what it would take to make the truck a show winner.
