TunerFest Car show series presented by Lucas Oil made their final stop of the year in Oklahoma City, September 24, 2005, at The Cox Convention Center. Unlike The Jersey Shore TunerFest early this year in July, the hurricane path missed Oklahoma City, but the results were the same as Jersey, a line out the door of eager people, and a convention center full of hot rides.Attendees of the show were treated to the Lucas Oil Racing Trailer, the national Scion Display, The Battle of the Imports Racing Transporter, and the Torco NHRA Pro Stock Race team hauler and cobalt racecar. If that was not enough Vertical Smiles was at the show with their nationally known model Brooke signing autographs and dominating the always popular $500 to win Bikini contest. G4TV made the trip out from Los Angeles to film their national television show Street Furry hosted by Big C.As much as the crowd was mesmerized by the bikini contest and the MTS Performance wet T-shirt contest, nobody that entered through The TunerFest doors walked away empty handed. In case you have not had a chance to hit a TunerFest show, it is a must for all of you looking to score some freebies. TunerFest staff and the girls from okimports.com sprayed the crowd for hours with free stuff from their sponsors Black Magic, KN Filters, Lucas Oil, Blowin Smoke Ent., Wild 97.9,S3 Magazine, O’reilly Auto Parts, Scion and Superior Window Tinting.Vehicles were on hand from several states including Bryan Lyn's 2001 Celica GT from Arkansas, which walked a way with the 8 foot tall best Import Trophy. For sure nobody will forget the 25+ vehicles Team Scikotics rolled in headed by Jon Adams, including vehicles on hand from New York, and Wisconsin obviously taking the 12-foot Lucas Oil best crew rep trophy. Team 16niss rolled out the heavy guns with their 2 rare skylines, and there always crowd pleasing Sylvia driven by German Sanchez of Texas. It was to nobody's surprise that this team walked away with the 8-foot best team quality award and the 12-foot tall Lucas Oil Best in Show trophy with Germans crowd pleasing Blue Skyline.Jeremy Werner,Saul V,Bruce and staff once again put on another kicking TunerFest show. With a reasonably priced show for competitors and entrants, where nobody walks away empty handed, these shows are definitely not going away anytime soon.
