For those of you that don’t know, this is like one of many times that Mitch had rebuilt Cha-Ching but many first time items still remained. One that continued through the last few rebuilds would be the suspension. Mitch with help from Woody would tackle the frame and suspension set up.

2First the frame rails would be boxed and smoothed and the rear of the frame would be notched and custom x members welded in place. Then they would install an Ekstensive 2-link and Ekstensive billy bars for the rear set up.
Upfront they would install a Suspension Techniques sway bar and Belltech spindles. KYB shocks and Firestone 26c bags would then be placed at all 4 corners. A custom rear end would then be set in place utilizing a 10 bolt with Posi unit and 3.73 ring and pinion ratio. With the suspension set in place Mitch and Woody would then apply a 2.5-inch body drop to lay the body on the ground.
22The battery would then be frenched into the floor of the bed and all brake lines would be changed over to stainless lines. The gas tank would be the next item needing adjustment. For this Mitch would install an R.C.I. aluminum fuel cell utilizing tubular chassis mounts under the bed. Everything set in place; the body would now tuck the newfound Bonspeed crocus billet wheels with 20x8.5’s upfront and 20x10.5 inch wheels in the rear.
