Working over the exterior Kurt would keep the mods simple with a clean paint scheme. For starters the stock grille would be replaced with a billet grille while a custom set of headlight covers would be developed and installed. The trunk would then be shaved smooth along with adding some curved bodylines.

   The Ion would then be prepped for paint. While in the booth a two-tone silver and candy apple red base would be sprayed while a gray graphic pinstriped in Orange help break up the lines and bring out a true custom feel. Lucky Luciano of Phoenix would apply the bodywork and paint.
