Getting the project started the GMC would be originally be body dropped 3-inches by the crew at RAW located in Florida. Knowing that the GMC was already set up with the body drop the suspension would be the first set of items to be reworked to lay the body on the ground.

To manage this Chas had the existing suspension pulled out and redone by Barnyard Customs of Dallas, TX. While in their hands the rear frame section would be cut out and notched. The leafs would be gone and in their place a 2-link set up would be fitted along with a panhard bar and pinion snubber.

Stock Nissan shocks would be installed into the rear for a better ride while the front currently rolls on one blown shock. To get the ups and downs complete a set of 2600 Firestone bags would be mounted up at all 4 corners.

To counter the new rear set up, the front would be equipped with powder coated 2 inch Bell Tech drop spindles. The sway bars would then be chromed along with the brake calipers and rear drums being powder coated. Basically Chas says his complete front suspension set up would be chromed like a true playa!
