Before getting into the exterior and interior modifications, Heather would get busy on getting the suspension modifications taken care of. The frame would first be fitted with a custom 5-inch notch and a custom tubular cross member all done by Eric Arrington of KustomWerks of Union City, TN. Then an Air Ride Technologies rear parallel 4-link would be chromed by Gary Lofton of South Haven, Ms and installed into the rear.

The rear end would then be powder-coated silver by Valley Racks in Elliot, Ms and fitted with custom shock, bag and 4-link mounts. Ensuring the correct angle, the drive shaft would be 2-piece custom cut and balanced by Biddy & Sons Metal of Grenada, Ms. With the mounts in place; the stock shocks would be replaced by a set of Doestch shocks. The stock sway bar locations were relocated and fitted with a Suspension Techniques kit. To help bring the rear down, the ball joints were flipped and then all corners were fitted with Air Lift Generation 2 air bags. 3/8 hard line and leak free fittings from Mitch at Ektensive Metal Works would then be installed along with the frame being sanded, primed and painted with Eastwoods Chassis black frame paint, by Heather and Joey.
