Fox shocks to keep everything nice while cruising low. Scott and Adam started brainstorming on paint schemes while the truck was out of town at The Hackshack. They decided that the truck would receive an old-school flame job utilizing the factory black with the green off the 2010 Camaros that have been running around, giving a really nice contrast between the two. Once the truck was back with Scott and Adam at Platinum Collision in Midland, Texas, it received a full shave job as well as smoothing the bed and raising the back half of the bed to keep the bed functional and also keep it somewhat stock looking. The paint on this truck is flawless thanks to Adam’s awesome paint skills that he has acquired. After the flames and paint were done, Jerry, a coworker of Adam and Scott, came in and did all the lime green and yellow pinstripe on the hood, tailgate and flames to finish off the look of it. After the truck had been painted, shaved, and laid out, a custom interior was next on the list. The task of the interior was handed off to Classic Auto Restyling in Midland, Texas. The interior received a suede headliner, leather wrapped seats with gator inserts in the middle of them to add a nice luxury look to it, and the seats are stitched in yellow stitching to match the exterior pin striping around the truck. When the truck was back in the hands of Platinum Collision, Adam took all of the plastics out of the inside of the truck, sanded, then fiberglassed them to paint them the same factory black as the exterior of the truck. Gabe then made a custom box to house four Digital Design 10 inch subwoofers that deleted the backseat of the truck. The dash also houses an Ipad and an Alpine head unit. This truck started off as Adam’s boss’s truck and Adam had been building it for his boss in his spare time. Scott decided he was going to sell it and since Adam had quite a bit of time in building the truck, and he got rid of his Ranger and Escalade to now own this truck. His plans are to tow his Hardbody to as many shows with it, and use it as his daily driver. Adams last touch was to add a skull because every one of his customized vehicles has had a skull somewhere in it and this one found its home in the center console of the vehicle.
