So as it came to a close and winter was slowly fading the guys headed to the paint booth for a few good coats of gloss black for the chassis and International Harvester Red for the body. Yes that is all straight enamel paint for that smooth finish that lies on there. Final assembly began and things that had become mock up went back on for the last time. The lights were off a model T aftermarket deal with aftermarket bubble lenses. The taillights are actually Dazey brand 1960’s ice crushers cut down. The steering was a Corvair box that Jeff built all of the linkage and so forth for to steer him in the right direction. As for a wheel to hold to while starring at that European EBAY dash he stole a wheel from one of his 1968 John Deere lawn mowers. The seats were built from wood and covered by a co-worker of Jeff’s.

As final assembly came to a close and the ton of water lines were run to the back where the radiator resides and all black and red wiring was run it was finally coming to a close. It had been 6 ½ long months but I think the Jeff would do it all over again to have this tricked out ride. Thanks to his car clubs support (Pebble Pushers) his parents, family, and friends, and most of all Michael Overcash.
