This would be my first going to Pharcyde’s Novemberfest but certainly not my last. I’ve always known this show would bring out most of Arizona’s heavy hitters but I was presently surprised at the number of vehicles that actually attended this year’s event. There were even a good number of California rides that made the trip down even though I doubt anyone drove their ride as long as I did to get down there it was nice to see many of So. Cal’s best up and coming rides in attendance.First off I must say that if it wasn’t for Oliver and Pops from Domination the Video it more then likely wouldn’t have been possible for me to attend this years event. I appreciate them and their hospitality. Oliver even threw a kegger for my arrival into the Phoenix area! That’s a story in its self!Upon my arrival the show is set on a water front park with plenty of space to walk around without hassle. There were tons of complete custom rides and up n’ coming build-ups. The one thing I particularly like about the show is the simple fact that all vehicles are parked in categories. Trucks in one general area, cars in another with rods/customs and under construction in another. I’ve never really seen this before but seems to be a cool way of locating rides and is hell of a lot easier for us photographers to cover. For those of you that have never been to Novemberfest I’d suggest hitting it up next year. This is pretty much a free show for all show goer’s and spectators alike. The main entry fee is simply a donation that is then given to a needy charity or in this years case a club member who was seriously hurt in an accident and is now left in a very unfortunate state. I’m going to do what I can to attend next years event as well but this time maybe have one of my rides finished and enter it for the cause.Garrick ArendsEditor
