When Ian Belmares from Euless, TX purchased his 89 Honda Accord back in the winter of 00' he knew what faced him ahead, either take the race road or the custom road. Ian's decision was simple build a clean yet conservative CUSTOM import, and over the course of three long years that's just what he has accomplished. Ian started with a plain Jane Honda that even had candy stuck to the back seat from the previous owners kids it once hauled around. Ian's first task was to make the Honda at one with Mother Earth. To accomplish this a phone call to the World Famous Brisland customs was in order. Soon after Brown was at the house dropping off the much need air cylinders that were needed to set the Accords new attitude. After putting the cylinders in place everything was plumbed using ½" line and 3/8 valves. To supply the much-needed air Viar 450 was plumbed into a single 6-gallon tank. Once the car was aired out it was obvious that there was a need for new rollers. So a new set of 18" Alba Inertias were shod in 215/35/18 rubber on all four corners.

Ian then focused on making the car a head snatcher. You know the ride you pass and it makes your head snatch around to get a double take because you didn't believe what you just thought you saw, so you got to take another look. To accomplish this Ian first installed a Xenon body kit to give the car that low-slung appearance once the air was let out of the cylinders.
