The paint, which would end up being sprayed, would be a Dark Metallic Garnet with some light pewter flames. Since this ride was no longer just a tow rig, why not touch up the interior? Well that was what David must have been thinking as well. With help from friend Tony Rhodes, they managed to redo the interior just 2 weeks before it was time to head out to West Coast Nationals. What was done you ask? Be patient and I’ll get to that.

One of the first steps would be to rework the seats with Katskin leather. After the seats were stitched, they then tweeded the door panels along with the headliner all in flames. One of the last steps was to install an APC Speed-glo dashboard, which David installed out of his business D-Tails & Performance. To help complement the new interior presence, a Trenz pedal assembly was installed.
