Growing up as a young man Dean Alexander of Brookhaven, MS would always have his eye on his Grandfathers ’71 Chevy C10 short-step. After his Grandfather retired he would end up selling the C10. Dean would end up finding the truck years later and would buy it 3 months to the day after his grandfather would lose a battle with cancer. Dean would purchase the Chevy for $2700 bringing the truck back into the family and giving Dean an emotional boost to create a clean custom ride.
