When you think of a quick, show stopping, stand out in a crowd type of car in today's show scene, you normally think of a Honda or an Acura. Even though that's what has become the normal at shows, there are a few people that build just that type of car in a domestic version. That is exactly what Chris Laverty from Charleston, West Virginia has done with his 1996 Chevy Cavalier. Chris has built the car to be a show-winning compact, yet it has been built enough to win at the races. You don't run across many cars at shows that can do that. Most are either a "show" car or a "race" car. This Cavalier has been built to allow Chris to enjoy the best of both worlds.
