Is it November?? Where did August, September and October go?? My oh my how the year just flies on by. Before you know it we'll all be meeting up at RESO kicking off the new year of 2002! Yep you heard it right, Resolutions will be back this year helping to keep the west coast alive with a few badass runs! Although it's not on the river and it's not in the 100's, I think everyone is just glad to see that it hasn't left us all like the other big west coast runs.So what went on in the big bad month of October? With the summer winding down, there were still some big events needing some coverage the past few months. Showcased this issue you will find 300+ pictures of Nopi Nationals along with shows like Midnight Fantasies, Bash at the Beach and Toppin' it all off 2001! For you horny guys out there, errr… minitruckers, there is plenty of T&A in this issue to keep you content. As I sit here engulfing a number 4 from KFC, and if you don't know KFC then to you a #4 would be a chicken strip meal, I sit back and think of all the cool shit that was built this year, and what was showcased at SEMA in Las Vegas, Nevada. Although I wasn't able to attend this year's convention of top-notch company's and vehicles, I knew of most vehicles being built for the show before hand and had a chance to view most so it wasn't a total wash for myself on a personal level. So what does 2002 hold for the automotive industry? Well only time can tell and we are only a few months out. So if you are one of those individuals looking to impress everyone in the show scene, you best go shopping for the newest body styled ride to the market and get quick with the tools before someone beats you to it. This month of November brings on Thanksgiving and good eats! This is the time to sit back and think about what you have to be thankful for in life. To break it down for you all, here are a few things I'm thankful for.

1) Being involved in a scene where every weekend brings me closer to friends around the country and introduces me to even more.2) Living a dream come true as an uneducated editor of a magazine. Yeah it's only online but that will work for me.3) For being apart of America the land of opportunity. Live your life to the fullest and don't let moments of disbelief bring you down.4) KFC!! Yep, Kentucky Fried Chicken!!!!! Anybody else with me on this??5) I know I already said this one, but friends…. Can never have to many friends. That along with family is a very important part of life.Till next month, keep the scene alive and eat plenty of goodies come Thanksgiving……Garrick ArendsEditorPS…. Still waiting to see a body draggin' horse n' carriage on 38 inch carriage wheels!
