Well here it is October and I have some sad sad news… We decided not to rush the Mazda so it won’t be debuting at SEMA. Yep one more goal missed with the build up. With the frame showing up way to late and with un thought of trouble with mounting the engine too much time was taken away from the rest of the build up. So to ensure the utmost quality in the project we decided to skip SEMA with its debut and work things out slowly and set a goal for Showfest. So instead over the weekend after getting 75% of the bed sheet metaled (Thanks Tom!!) we decided to bag my Caprice Wagon! As everyone else stress’s and struggles to get things accomplished for SEMA I’m going to concentrate on some family time and getting the Wagon ready for the long drive out first of the month. If you’ve never tried to get a vehicle built and complete right before a large event like SEMA you’ll never know the stress that can build up and how it can wear you out. For those of you continuing to build and stress and achieve your goal of showing your ride at SEMA I commend you! This issue we have some really good coverage from Coast to Coast along with 4 bad ass features. We have shows from Florida, Oklahoma, Utah, California and Louisiana making sure to cover the majority of the US. As for Features we have Chris Starr’s bad ass Mazda Ex-cab long bed along with an S-10 and Toyota from the NorthEast and not to forget the bad ass Tacoma from Texas. So I’ll stop wasting your time with my random blabbering and let you get on with the issue…Oh and sorry for the delay in this release…. Garrick ArendsEditorGarrick@StreetSource.com
