  Next would be the hardest part of the car, swapping the 2001 VW Passat motor over and getting to run in the GTi like it did in the Passat. Although it sounds hard, this was an easy process for Jason because he was familiar with the motor, and had worked with it before.

The 2001 Passat 20v 1.8T motor would fit perfect in this car with a few modifications, and with the lightweight of the car, it would give it the horsepower he was striving for. Jason would add an ATP manifold, T3 Super60 stage 4 turbo, Tial External Wastegate, Greddy Type S blow off valve, 380 Injectors, all custom hand fabricated intercooler pipes done by Jay, Spearco front mount Intercooler,
