After handling task of shaving the car himself, he call in reinforcements from Grover Fabrications in Tulare, Ca to shave the center portion of the taillights and then it was ready to be sprayed in primer. With the bodywork done, it was time to debut the Bird, which he did at Summer Madness 02 and left with a 2nd Place trophy and an invitation to join Dangerous Toys.

Yet with a trophy in the back seat and a new logo on the back window, Scott went home and began the process of taking his car to the next level. The first step was updating his rolling stocks to 18 in. KMC Nemesis wheels wrapped in 225/40/18 Kuhmo tires and then it was ready for the paint process. For finishing duties, Scott rolled his ride to Brook Keegan at Clovis Custom Cycles and Motors in Clovis, Ca. where he took on the tasks of prepping the car for paint. Once that was completed, Brook layed down a few layers of Dupont Chrome Premier Crystal Blue Metallic and then finished it off with a nice layer of clear.
With the exterior done, it was time to update the now 13-year-old interior with some new threads. For that, Scott rebuilt the door panels, center console, and kick panels. Then fabricated a rear deck lid to work as ports for the soon to come stereo setup. Then covered all the new pieces in vinyl and covered all plastics in color matched paint.
