August rolling around means only one thing - it's time for another year of Indy Truck Bash (or Import and Truck Bash for all of you new people.) This is definitely one of the most anticipated shows each and every year, and considering that 2003 was the 10th year anniversary, many people were looking forward to the 3rd weekend of August, 2003. Shortly after arriving in Indianapolis, a quick trip over to the Indy Raceway Park revealed what everyone already knew: 2003 was definitely going to be a huge year for the show. Latest Craze already had a massive amount of entries before the weekend even began and vehicles were pulling in by the dozens to register and find their spot inside the massive show grounds, which would be totally full by late saturday afternoon. After checking getting everything in order and checking out the grounds Friday afternoon, weall decided a quick trip to Hooters for dinner was in order. Many, many hot wings and curly fries later, we all bounced and headed back over to the Clarion, where the parking lot had already filled up and the party was getting started early. After hanging out with the Negative Camber crew, I finally decided to turn in and get ready for the weekend. Saturday morning came around quickly, and it was time to head back to the Raceway Park and get the weekend started. The line was massive as thousands of vehicles were already inside the gates and hundreds more were trying to roll in. I quickly noticed the likes of Twisted Koncepts, Immaculate Collection, Pebble Pushers, Severed Ties and of course Negative Camber, which rolled harder and deeper than any club at Indy this year. The vendor row was packed with almost every company and/or part or piece that one could hope to find for their vehicle and massive amounts of spectators were everywhere, despite the raging heat and humidity. Sunday brought back the hot rides and Mother Nature's heat along with bikini clad girls and morecruising than a Carnival Cruise ship. After everything was said and done and awards were handed out, tents were packed away, rides were loaded onto trailers and everyone said their goodbyes and went on their way back to the places that they came from.

Those that have been to this show don't need an invitation to come back, as they already know thatthis is one of the best shows in the country. If you haven't attended Indy Truck Bash, mark yourcalenders and make sure you are there in 2004. You won't be disappointed. Bobby Stewart
