As with any custom vehicle, the suspension had to be altered to fit the owner's tastes. Andrew's Mazda needed to be sitting just a tad lower than stock height so the necessary steps were taken to achieve this. Up front, Andrew installed drop spindles from AIM Industries to drop the Mazda's nose a few inches closer to the pavement. This wasn't enough, so Andrew took the time to fit Firestone airbags up front as well. In the rear, a notch was performed between the frame rails for the much needed travel, along with a custom 4-link and Firestone airbags. Before everything could be put back together, the frame was also also base coated and clear coated for a nice, clean look. Nitro drop shocks were installed at all four corner to insure a smooth ride. Adjustability comes in the form of 1/4" manual valves.

The next order of business on Andrew's agenda was a complete outside makeover. Andrew knew exactly what he wanted to do, so he took matters into his own hands in this department. First, Andrew shaved the door handles, wiper cowl and body line. Andrew also shaved and smoothed the firewall and taillights. The gas filler neck was relocated inside the fender and the gas door shaven clean. The factory Mazda bumper was tossed in the junk pile and replaced with a steel roll pan.
