On a nice cool day in Jan of 92 David dropped a cool 10k to make this 91 Nissan his own, after 3 years of daily driving and a nicely figured build up price David was finally finished building this hard body to debut at the 95' Heat wave. Being in this sport for 13 years you can learn a thing or two on how to cut corners and make building a truck a whole hell of a lot easier. Some of David's previous rides consist of an 89 Mazda, 77-ford currier and a 92 Chevy suburban on dubz. But David's main reason for building this sweet ride was due to a little peer pressure and the thought of seeing it on the pages of this well-established magazine. (Ok, maybe not just this magazine but to see it in as many as possible)

In the process of building this truck David let fellow club member and friend Rob Rodell at Under Ground Customz perform all the suspension work. Up front of this mean bastard Rob installed 2" drop spindles and firestone airbags, with the shocks and tie-bar relocated Rob and David went the extra step of redrilling the front hubs to convert the 6-lug bolt pattern to a 5. With the front end layed down it was time to head to the rear.

First thing was to remove the bed and junk all factory suspension, and to finish the lug conversion Rob junked the Nissan rear end and pick up a five lug Toyota. With the new rear end in place by using TCI chromed four-link

Rob then custom built the monster notch to leave plenty of clearance when Dave lays the truck out by way of the firestone airbags. With the frame laying flat it was now time to head towards the body shop.
