Knowing what he was wanting, Donald decided putting out $12,500 on a Honda Del Sol would be well worth the dollar. So back in January of 2000, the money was spent and the beginning of a whole new dominator of the sport would begin. Although this journey would take about a year and a half to build to this point, as we all know it will never be done. Donald knowing his way around the shop would make the complete customizing of the Del Sol a process that would move at a fairly quick pace. With help from friend Mark Ramirez, the body would be first on the long list of modifications. Working the front would top the list with some modifying ideas new to the Del Sol scene. With custom mounting a set of 1997 Honda Civic headlights, a custom carbon fiber hood would be bolted up with chromed hood hinges to match up to the head lights much like a stock fit. With a Kaminari front bumper customized to fit with the new headlights and also giving the already sporty Del Sol a meaner look. Buddy Club side skirts and rear bumper would be mounted to complete the body kit for an over all aerodynamic stance. The grilles found in the front of the Del Sol would be chromed along with the windshield wiper.

Moving towards the rear of the Del Sol you will continue seeing modifications that Donald was slowly knocking off the list. The front fenders were touched up with a set of vents found from a 2001 BMW M3.
