Is it possible to build an import that you drive back and forth to work everyday, race every weekend and manage to not only take to shows, but win them too? If you think not, then look closer at Adam Drake’s 1995 Honda Civic SI. Yes, he drives it daily. Yes, he races it weekly. And yes, he not only attends shows, but wins them as well. Getting a suspension that was not only race ready but comfortable enough to drive daily was first at hand. For adjustable whether it be for show or race, Adam went with Ground Control coilovers in the rear along with Tokico shocks. Up front, the use of Ground Control coilovers and Tokico shocks were installed as well. The rear brakes were upgraded from drums to cross-drilled rotors for the quick stopping ability. The front brakes were cross-drilled also.
