Coby knew he wanted his Mitsu to be fast so he knew he would have to make some engine modifications to live up to his expectations. Starting with the stock 2.0-liter engine, a Crower cam and Crower retainers were installed. The stock Mitsu TD-03 turbo runs at 15 pounds of boost along with a Toucan Industries air intake.

Coby installed a HRC 3” down pipe off the turbo and a GReddy S-type blow off valve. A GReddy front mount intercooler with upgraded piping allow cool air to Coby’s engine. The engine rests on Energy Suspension motor mounts.

To give spark to the engine, Toucan Industries 9mm plug wires were installed. To allow proper breathing, an HKS 3” cat-back exhaust was installed using an HKS Hyper muffler.

Other engine improvements include an Extreme Motor Sports manual boost controller, billet aluminum spark plug cover and billet oil cap. The valve cover was chromed by A&A Chrome Plating and a one-off heat shield designed as well.
