Texas Extreme Truck Show
Texas Extreme Truck Show
For the second year in a row the guys from Truckin’ Magazine decided to make the trip from California to Texas. Last year was a great show and this year was no exception. Unfortunately, the weather decided to not cooperate on Saturday. Other than overcast skies and a few drizzles of rain the show was awesome. Along with Truckin’, Sport Truck and Mini Truckin also came down and helped sponsor the show. Typical for Texas, there were a lot of badass rides. Several clubs were well represented with members from Relaxed Atmosphere, Severed Ties, Negative Camber, Ground Zero, and Aftermath all in attendance. A couple of people from Pleasures even made the drive down from Oklahoma City. The crew from Hill’s Hot Rods was on hand with several of their award winning vehicles, including their Blazer, which really has to be seen in person to appreciate.
For those who prefer their head in the clouds, Maximum Altitude and B&C Off-road brought out some of their work to display. Hot Hues brought out their big rig to show off some of their paint products along with a killer old school roadster. Rhino Liner was in attendance and even gave away a free bed liner during awards on Sunday. Krusty’s Kustoms set up shop in the middle of the show grounds hawking bags and valves all weekend at killer prices. This proved to be a big plus for one lucky show participant who decided to blow a bag on Saturday. As if killer trucks wasn’t enough visual stimulation for one weekend, Truckin’ had the beautiful Nikki Zeno in their booth all weekend signing autographs and taking pictures with the crowd. As usual with the Texas Ski Ranch there was wakeboarding and skateboarding demos going constantly through out the weekend. Each year it gets tougher and tougher to pick which shows you want to attend. As the number of shows grows the amount of time between shows gets smaller and smaller. But I encourage everyone to definitely mark this show on your calendar for next year. The awesome Ski Ranch staff and prime location make this a cant miss event for next season.
